Next Steps

  • If you decide you would like to come in for some counseling services you can either call our office directly at 541-426-4524 and speak to a counselor who will do a short screening, or contact your primary care doctor and they will send us a referral. Once we get the referral we will call and do a short screening.
  • After a short screening we will assign a counselor to see you and our staff will call you and get you scheduled.
  • You will be asked to complete some paperwork which helps us get to know how you are doing.
  • Most insurance covers counseling services but if you don’t have insurance we will work with you and figure out how you can still receive counseling services.
  • Normally during the first appointment a counselor will do an assessment with you and learn more about what you would like help with. Together you will come up with a plan that helps you reach your goal(s). You are welcome to bring family member(s) if that would be helpful to you.
Integration

We have successfully implemented a model for integrating wellness that incorporates enhanced care coordination of services between mental health/drug and addition services and primary health care. As part of this collaborative approach to healthcare, Winding Waters Medical Clinic now shares space at our Annex location offering full medical services within our behavioral health home. We also have staff who have been trained as Behavioral Health Coaches and are working as an integrated team with primary care. Our consumers are already realizing the benefits. This approach will provides greater access to care and better health outcomes for people.
