We are open and ready to help. While COVID-19 is new, preparing for responses to public health issues, crisis emergencies, and disasters is not new to our staff. In fact, crisis preparedness training is a year-round activity that is done within our clinic system. We take preparedness seriously 365 days a year. We're taking every possible safety precaution (see our safety measures). Please continue to seek the care you need, emergent or otherwise.

Due to this, our staff can help you and your family. They understand what you are going through and have in-depth knowledge of our resources, tools and benefits that help you and your family stay strong during the pandemic. They work alongside you to make sure you have food on the table, can pay rent, provide transportation to appointments and so much more.

If you are struggling to meet basic needs, we are here for you. We can help you navigate resources for housing, food, utilities, transportation and so much more.

We can meet you at your home or in the community in addition to offering all services via the phone or video chat.

  • Wallowa Memorial Hospital COVID-19 Hotline, 541-426-5475, to address questions about the local situation and measures our health care community is doing to ensure your safety.

  • Call 211 for disaster financial assistance and a specialist near you will help you access services.
  • Oregon YouthLine 1-877-968-8491 or text teen2teen to 8339863. Oregon Youthline is a free, confidential teen-to-teen crisis and helpline. Contact Oregon YouthLine with anything that may be bothering you. No problem is too big or too small for the YouthLine. Teens are available to help daily from 4-10 pm Pacific Time (adults are available by phone at all other times).

  • Oregon Helpers Wellness Initiative. As our communities face COVID-19, we are experiencing drastic changes to everyday life, both personally and professionally – and these changes are especially difficult for helpers and other frontline and essential workers. Oregon Helpers Wellness Initiative is dedicated to providing critical support to Oregon communities and those workers we depend on most. The virtual peer support meetings are free, confidential and open to all frontline workers including medical and behavioral health providers, social workers, home caregivers, and more.
