Careers Tied to Our Work
Many of our services/programs work closely with positions tied to mental and behavioral health and developmental disabilities work. These are wonderful career opportunities in our community as well.
Home care or Personal Support Workers - Homecare and personal support workers are needed to help people who receive Medicaid funded in-home services stay in their own homes. By joining the homecare workforce, you become part of an important team by helping individuals with personal care, household tasks, and being active in their communities.
Adult Foster Home Providers (to serve adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities) - provide necessary care while emphasizing the individual's independence. Adult foster homes are for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Individuals just turning 18 to those facing end-of-life decisions. The range of support needs is widely varied, and individual plans are developed to address the specific needs of the individuals in care. Single-family residences that offer 24-hour care in a home-like setting that is safe and secure. Homes serve five or fewer individuals.
Therapeutic Foster Care -this program provides homes for youth in local communities involved in the Child Welfare system or that are being supported by their local community mental health program. The Therapeutic Foster Care program trains and supports foster parents, empowering them to provide a safe environment that supports the healing process for youth served in our foster homes.
